Innovation is at the heart of Cathy's expertise — whether it's product design and development, creative conceptualization or the linking artists and manufacturers in new ways. Cathy is the chief designer for CBD International, creating original designs for our Digital Scrapbooking and Craft Kits and the packaging of each licensed artist's digital artwork into themed sets.

Over the past 20 years, Cathy provided license acquisition, line strategy and design services on behalf of manufacturers for prestigious licensed properties such as Spode, Flower Fairies, Marjolein Bastin, Thomas Kinkade, Susan Branch, Mary Engelbreit and Disney. Cathy's award-winning packaging and product lines are based on her creative concepts, art direction and coordination of production for manufacturers of stationery, paper crafts, tabletop, giftware and sportswear. Her capabilities include sourcing, branding, packaging and marketing programs with attention to cost savings and quality improvement.

Born in San Francisco, Cathy enjoys her family and life in Seattle, Washington. In addition to her work, Cathy serves on the College of Liberal Arts Alumni Advisory Board of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
