A self taught artist, writer and Reiki Master, Marlene has also created inspirational artwork under the brand name Serenity Garden.™ “I wanted to bring meaning as well as beauty to my artwork,” says Marlene. So each image is an icon that carries a positive message while subtly planting seeds for personal happiness in our daily lives.

In addition to continuing to license her artwork, Marlene has created an online web community for sharing stories called HandPrints On My Heart.™ Her goal is to connect people around the world by sharing her own stories as well as those written by other’s in a series of books (like Chicken Soup for the Soul) along with coordinated gift products.

Marlene lives near the ocean in Westhampton Beach, NY with her husband Robert, their 4 cats, and a teacup poodle. She is the step-mother to two daughters.
